what's this site?
This is a site, normally called a "portfolio". Simply put, it's a place for me to put my art and poetry, as well as hold challanges for talented others to submit their art and poetry. :)

how did it start?
Well, I always liked to do computer art, but for once, I wanted to feel like I was doing it towards a purpose. I've also always loved poetry, but had never put it anywhere where people could read it. That's when I started thinking seriously about doing an art/poetry portfolio. The idea was especially attractive to me, mostly because I hadn't seen many portfolios that did a lot of poetry as well as art.

why 'divine inspiration'?
I know, a bit more of a mouthful than most titles, perhaps, and certainly a pain to fit onto 100x35 pixel codes. ;) But it's very fitting; see, I'm not doing this for me. I mean, I hope to get feedback, mostly because I'm thinking of writing a book of poetry (perhaps with photography as well), and would like to know what people think.

But seeing that it isn't thanks to ME that I can do this stuff, I thought I ought to give credit where it's due; to God. He made me, He put this artistic side in me, he's the only reason my poetry is semi-readable instead of utter tripe, and the only reason I took any kind of interest in art. It's by his divine inspiration that I can do any of this. I thought the site ought to be titled thus. :)
